Original price was: £130.00.Current price is: £119.00.

BC-204/BC-216 Ethernet to SPI/DMX Pixel Controller. Control massive LED installations with this professional Artnet/sACN (E1.31) controller. Available in 4-channel (BC-204) or 16-channel (BC-216) models. Each SPI output supports up to 680 pixels (RGB) or 512 pixels (RGBW), with total control of up to 5,440 pixels. Works with over 50 IC types (WS2811, WS2812B, APA102, SK6812, UCS1903, etc.). Features dual DMX512 output (BC-216) or single DMX output (BC-204), built-in WEB SERVER, LCD menu display, and DC5V-24V wide voltage input. Compatible with Madrix, Resolume, Jinx, XLIGHTS, and all Artnet-compatible software.

Professional-Grade Pixel Control for Large LED Displays

The BC-204 (4-channel) and BC-216 (16-channel) Ethernet to SPI/DMX pixel controllers are designed for demanding, large-scale LED installations. Whether you're building a matrix panel display, architectural contour lighting, stage backdrop, or LED dance floor, these controllers convert Artnet/sACN (E1.31) network signals into precise SPI pixel data that thousands of addressable LEDs can understand.

Unlike basic controllers limited to simple patterns, this device unlocks real-time, PC-driven effects. When paired with professional software like Madrix, Resolume, Arena, Jinx, or XLIGHTS, you can create complex video mapping, music-reactive visuals, and stunning pixel-level animations.

Key Features & Capabilities

1. Dual Control Modes
The controller supports both ArtNet (V1) and sACN (E1.31) network protocols, ensuring broad compatibility with professional lighting software. It can also receive DMX512 signals directly from lighting consoles.

2. Multi-channel SPI Output
Each of the 4 or 16 ports can be configured independently. You can mix different LED types on different ports (e.g., WS2811 12V on some ports and WS2812B 5V on others) as long as the ICs are compatible and power is supplied separately.

3. Simultaneous DMX512 Output
The controller also outputs DMX512 signals alongside SPI data. This allows you to control traditional DMX fixtures (dimmers, moving heads, RGBW spotlights) alongside your pixel LEDs, unifying control of all lighting elements in a single project.

4. Web Server & LCD Configuration
Easily configure IP addresses, DMX universes, pixel counts, and IC types through the built-in WEB SERVER (accessible via any browser) or the on-device LCD menu.

5. Eliminates Pixel Flicker
The BC-204/216 processes data at 40 frames per second, ensuring smooth playback of video loops without the lag or flicker common with daisy-chained controllers, even in massive matrix installations.

6. Wide Voltage Support (DC5V-24V)
Accepts input from DC5V to DC24V, automatically detecting the voltage. This allows you to use the same controller for both 5V and 12V/24V LED strips.

7. Long Distance Transmission
SPI output ports can transmit signals up to 60 meters to the first LED. Use shielded twisted pair cables for longer runs and to prevent signal interference.

8. Test Mode & Firmware Updates
Built-in test mode allows you to check LED connectivity without a computer. The controller also supports online firmware updates for future IC compatibility.

9. DIP Plug-in Design
Easily replaceable DIP components allow users to repair damage caused by incorrect wiring or short circuits without replacing the entire unit.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Problem Likely Cause Solution
No pixel output Wrong IC type selected Check IC type in WEB SERVER/LCD menu; ensure it matches your LED strip
Flickering LEDs Data line interference or long distance Use shielded twisted pair cable; keep data line away from AC power
Partial pixel control (some LEDs don't respond) Pixel count set incorrectly Count total pixels in the LED chain and update settings in the controller
Cannot connect to WEB SERVER IP address mismatch Ensure PC and controller are on the same subnet (e.g., 2.x.x.x for Artnet)
One port not working (BC-216) Damaged output channel Test with a known working LED strip; if still not working, check the fuse or contact support
Controller gets very hot Overload or poor ventilation Reduce pixel load per port; ensure adequate airflow around the metal housing
